Iceberg Consulting is launching a series of practical skills-based in-person workshops in 2025. Emphasizing the art of skill development, these highly interactive experiential classes promise concrete takeaways and tools for immediate application.
Intro to Canva (Wednesday, January 22, 10:00-11:45am or; Tuesday, January 28, 5:45-7:30pm)
Canva is an incredibly user-friendly platform that transforms your creative vision into reality once you get the basic steps down. It empowers you to let your imagination run wild for presentations, social media, posters, art, and countless other projects!
Visual Notetaking & Sketchnoting (Wednesday, February 12, 12:00-2pm
Tuesday, March 25, 5:45-7:45)
Sketchnoting is an innovative method of taking notes that incorporates visuals, activating an entire part of your brain that would otherwise remain untapped. This workshop invites participants to explore the fundamentals of Sketch Noting: the reasons behind its use, theory, and, most crucially, the HOW through informal practice and co-creation. Sketchnoting can enhance a person’s focus, making them more engaged in meetings, classes, and beyond, transforming how individuals learn. No artistic skills are required—really!
Location: All workshops are held at 12 North Street, a shared workspace building in the Old North End of Burlington, Vermont, where Mellisa’s office can be found. Complimentary coffee and tea are always available.
Currently, workshops are only offered in person. It is the hope to be able to offer online classes sometime in the future.
