Today our preschoolers took on a simple building challenge using cups and craft sticks.

While it looked like play, they were actually learning so much! They explored balance, solved problems, worked together, and kept trying until their ideas worked.

🥕 Orange Power: Carrot Harvest Day! 🌱

Our Curious Twiga preschoolers had an exciting day becoming little gardeners! Today, they explored how carrots grow by carefully harvesting them from the soil. As they dug, pulled, and observed, they discovered that carrots are root vegetables that grow underground—not on trees or bushes!

This hands-on activity encouraged children to explore different textures, compare the sizes of their carrots, and learn new vocabulary such as soil, root, and harvest. Along the way, they strengthened their fine motor skills, practiced taking turns, and learned how colorful vegetables help keep our bodies healthy and strong.

At Safari Kid Burlington, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and make learning meaningful every day.
