My beautiful senior is Jordan Pool. While in Burleson High School, she has participated in Varsity Choir, Show Choir, Tennis, Color Guard, and Theatre. She won a spot to go to Nationals at the Thespian Convention. She was competing in Nebraska in June. This was cancelled. Theatre also advanced at UIL and that has been cancelled also. She will be attending Midwestern State University in the fall. She just tried out for Midwestern Singers via YouTube and not only made the group but earned a 4 year scholarship. We are so very proud of her.
She misses her friends, school, and extra curricular activities. She is truly an amazing young lady. It breaks my heart that her best year of High School was ruined by quarantine.
I’m so sorry for all the seniors who are missing the best days of their life. My prayer is that when quarantine is lifted you will get to have your banquets, prom, senior awards, and graduation.
Keep in mind Class of 2020, you have made history!!!
Keep your chins up, call your friends, and find ways to keep yourself busy.
