DFAD - Audio Branding and Audio Post
Composed by Dmitrii Marquize D. Miachin
It was an honor to create audio for Ferocious Gameplay Trailer.
Ferocious is a stunning, raw and unforgiving first-person narrative-driven shooter that thrusts you into a pulse-pounding adventure on a deadly, uncharted island in the Pacific.
The island is alive with danger. Prehistoric beasts and formidable dinosaurs roam free, demanding your utmost respect. These creatures aren’t just obstacles; they are the heartbeat of the island, the curse and cure each encounter is a brutal test of your survival instincts and combat agility.
Ferocious will take you back to the action-packed shooters of the early 2000s, yet it breathes fresh life into the genre with modern gameplay mechanics and good old-school Hollywood quality narrative. Your arsenal is vast, each weapon and tool offering unique strategies for survival. Whether you’re a guns-blazing maverick or a shadowy tactician, the game adapts to your style. The game as you could notice also got Mechs!

Composed by Dmitrii Miachin
"Those Who Walk Away" starts with the "Prelude" that plays during the opening credits sequence, setting the atmosphere of impending doom. This music, rich with layers of hurdy-gurdy, modular synthetic effects, low-frequency synths, various solo instruments, sound design and some foley - it contrasts sharply with visuals that depict calm scenes of peace and children playing, suggesting a deceptive facade of normalcy.
Director Robert Rippberger and composer Dmitrii Miachin designed this opening to disorient the audience.
The calm imagery paired with the unsettling score creates continuous tension and unease, hinting at the underlying horror and setting the stage for the film's psychological and supernatural elements. The nuanced instrumentation, combining live instruments for texture and orchestral elements for mids, draws the audience into the unfolding mystery and psychological intensity of the narrative.

“Those Who Walk Away” is an American horror film directed and written by Robert Rippberger. The film stars Booboo Stewart, Scarlett Sperduto, Grant Morningstar, and Nils Allen Stewart as the monstrous Rotcreep. It employs a continuous take method, similar to those seen in “1917” and Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rope”. Dmitrii Miachin’s score complements demented and impactful psychological horror experience. Released theatrically in the U.S. and distributed internationally by VMI Releasing.
