Congratulations to Ms. Suzanne Ibarra! She was selected as our October Star Award winner! Ms. Suzanne is our Learning Adventures teacher who teaches Spanish, Math, Phonics and Handwriting. Her teamates appreciate Suzanne's positive attitude, willingness to help out in any classroom at a moments notice and her cheerful spirit! Please help us in congratulating Ms. Suzanne!
Nominations for out November Star Award winner can begin immediately. If you would like to nominate a staff member, please jot down your nomination and bring it into the office. Winner will be selected November 12. All of our Star WInners receive $25 Target Gift Card and a Special Parking Spot Reservation (believe it or not, that's a big deal!)

Our Fall Festival is just around the corner! Friday, October 19th 4:30-6:00pm. Please join us at one of our favorite events of the year! See your little one parade in their costume and stay for the games and family style dinner provide by MAOFC. This year our Booster Club has reserved a photo booth for all of you to take pictures in and make memories. Photos will be $5/each and all profits will go to classroom purchases by the Booster Club. We will also be having a delicious Bake Sale during the Festival. Please sign up in the lobby if you are interested in bringing in Baked Goods for our School Fundraiser. Please remember NO NUTS, and LABEL your baked goods with ingredients list. If you have any questions, please speak with Brenda or Jamie!

ENDEAVOR SPACE SHUTTLE FLYS OVER MAOFC- How lucky were our Preschool and Pekindergarten children to have first glimpse of the exciting event! Today at 12:08pm we stood at the front steps of MAOFC to watch the Endeaveor space shuttle fly above Burbank. Suddenly there was an unexpected turn in the distance. Ms. Antonia suddenly says, "Oh my gosh, I think it's coming back! It's coming back!" We all grew a little more excited as we saw the shuttle turning back towards us! The kids were so excited they were jumping and screaming and smiling as the shuttle literally flew down Verdugo St. This photo captured by Ms. Antonia is just a glimpse of what we saw at MAOFC today!
Back to School Night For Preschool and Prekindergarten was a huge success! Both teams did an excellent job tonight! Can't wait to see what tomorrow night brings =) Remember Infants, Toddlers and Discovery Preschool Back to School Night Starts tomorrow night at 6:30 pm
