What a great turnout at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River ! Their Halloween Bash had SOOOOO many kids! It was a really fun surprise to see kids I know in the crowd. 😊

I just ordered our first Lego Education kit! 🥳 Our first group of four is full for the 3rd-6th grade Lego STEM Club. I am now working on an interest list. If we get another four kids interested, I will order a second set and and we will have two groups. Here is a video demonstration with a sample project. We are working on filling spots in the Kinder-2nd grade group and the 7th-9th grade group, as well as possibly adding a second 3rd-6th grade group. If you are interested in having your child join these clubs, please message me as soon as possible so I can get enough supplies ordered.

The 3rd-6th Lego STEM Club will be Thursdays from 9:00 to 10:00. The 7th-9th Lego STEM Club will be Wednesdays from 9:00 to 10:00. These groups are limited to only four students in each club. If you are interested in joining, please let me know as soon as possible so I can hold a spot for your child.

In today's homeschool club, we read "Pumpkin Jack" and made pumpkin life cycle hats. We cut the top off a pumpkin and filled it with soil so we can watch the life cycle for ourselves. We're very excited about our new puppet theater. This is so good for story telling, social and emotional learning, and supporting language and literacy. It also helps us practice being a good audience. I love our clubs so much!
