Hey Friends,  It’s been a bit and I appreciate ya’ll sticking around 😉 My story started with designing and making handbags which I have enjoyed for many years.  I have struggled with the amount of hours it took to do everything and maintain a household with 2 kiddos.  It took so long to cut, organize and sew not to mention all the social media aspects and everything else - my one-person businesses raise your hands 🙋‍♀️

Anyways, that’s old news 🤣 I have also struggled with waste and contributing to the textile aspect of it.  I was buying raw materials to make new pieces, meanwhile, there were soooo many already existing bags out there!  How do I fulfill my love of Bags (making) and my love of reusing/repurposing?!?  A light bulb 💡 went off - I could use my skills/knowledge to rescue vintage/forgotten  bags, doctor them up and find their new person.

This project was definitely a process … 20 hours +\- of cutting and hand sewing 🪡 🧵 and worth every moment! This is my ‘make a gift’ for Noah this year! He loves Calvin and Hobbes 🧡 so he needed his own Hobbes of course 🤗
