Honored. Proud. Grateful. ❤️
Civil Air Patrol Buffalo City Units joined our community for Buffalo’s Juneteenth Parade, with cadets from:

NY-614 Buffalo Creek (REACH Academy)

NY-615 Buffalo Guardians (WNY Maritime)

NY-616 Path Carver (BuffSci)

standing tall in Color Guard and marching formation to represent Civil Air Patrol.

Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the ongoing pursuit of liberty and justice for all. Our cadets were honored to be part of this moment, serving as ambassadors of CAP’s core values: Integrity, Volunteer Service, Excellence, and Respect.

🎥 Exciting news! We’re thrilled to share the final video showcasing our fifth graders at Maritime Middle School putting their STEM skills to the test!
In this engaging science project, students designed and built ramps and competed to see whose ramp could produce the slowest-rolling ball. Throughout the process, they experimented, tested, and fine-tuned their designs, learning about friction, gravity, and motion all while having a blast!
A special shoutout to our eighth-grade cadet, who served as a judge for this challenge. Congratulations to all our students for their hard work and creativity. Enjoy the video! ⚓️🔬💡🧪

WNY Maritime Charter cadets were buzzing with excitement as they launched their canoes at Hoyt Lake. Today marked the grand finale of our canoe-building adventure!!!!🛶

Our Maritime cadets have gained invaluable hands-on experience in their STEM class at the Buffalo Maritime Center, all thanks to our amazing volunteer mentors. From paddle shaping to canoe construction, they’re acquiring essential life skills!
The Hand-to-Hand Program at the Buffalo Maritime Center offers both a credited class and an after-school option.
Congratulations, cadets, on a job well done!

This afternoon, 15 Cadets from WNY Maritime made a meaningful impact by collecting flags that honored our Veterans at Forest Lawn Cemetery this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
They gathered nearly 7,000 flags, which will be reused for Veterans Day. It was a beautiful day, and the Cadets truly showcased their dedication and spirit of service. Thank you for your hard work!

Two cadets from the Buffalo Guardians Cadet Squadron (NY-615) and Maritime successfully completed their Civil Air Patrol orientation flights today!

They proudly represented our school and squadron during this important milestone. Orientation flights provide cadets with a unique opportunity to experience aviation firsthand while learning about aircraft operations, flight principles, and potential aerospace careers. They even got the chance to control the aircraft during the flight! ✈️

These flights are some of the signature experiences of the Civil Air Patrol cadet program, inspiring future leaders in aviation, aerospace, and public service.

Join me in congratulating our cadets on this outstanding achievement! We are proud of their accomplishments and excited to see their continued growth and success as student leaders!
