The Sanctuary is a psychedelic and psychological harm reduction program that provides a safe place for those at music festivals.
We currently operate at the Blue Heron Grounds, Sherman, NY. Sanctuary was inspired by the Zendo Project, an initiative from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. The organizers have been trained to provide psychedelic harm reduction and will team with volunteers to promote the safety and well-being of those undergoing a psychedelic/psychological emergency.

Join The Psychedelic Society of Western New York on Saturday, November 8th at 1:00 P.M. at Caffe at Amy’s Place for our next monthly meeting! We’ll be discussing next steps in partnering with Decriminalize Nature to advance the decriminalization of entheogens and plant medicines in Buffalo.
Together, we’ll explore strategy, lobbying and rally efforts, legislative approaches, and fundraising initiatives. Together, we can cultivate a more conscious, compassionate, and connected community.
