This year, she is participating in the Walk to Cure Arthritis on August 15 at Delaware Park, a community event featuring wellness activities and opportunities to support those affected by arthritis.

On Saturday, we had the honor of participating in the 50th Juneteenth Parade and Festival. This marked a historic milestone, as it was the first time the Buffalo EOC marched in the parade. It was a truly surreal and meaningful experience for both students and staff to come together in celebration of and tribute to Buffalo’s Black community.

This year was especially significant, as we are commemorating the Buffalo EOC’s 60th anniversary while the city celebrates 50 years of Juneteenth festivities. Being part of these dual milestones made the experience even more memorable and impactful.

On Friday, the Honorable Crystal Peoples-Stokes concluded her final day in her Albany office. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for her years of dedicated service, leadership, and unwavering commitment.

Her reliable support of the Buffalo EOC has made a lasting impact, and her advocacy will continue to be felt for years to come. Majority Leader Peoples-Stokes, thank you for all that you have done for our organization and the community we serve. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed and will always be deeply appreciated.

On Friday, our Buffalo Build Cohort completed their course! While they’ll officially walk across the stage this Wednesday at our 53rd Commencement, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate them now.
