We’ve got a few departments and individuals to recognize today! First up are our Principals on National School Principal Appreciation Day, celebrated on May 1st every year! A big thank you to Mr. Siddall at Kenmore West, Mr. Brown at Kenmore East High School, Mr. Kruger at Kenmore Junior Senior High School, Mr. Johnson at Herbert Hoover Middle School, Mr. Galante at Franklin Middle School, Mrs. Evans at Ben Franklin Elementary School, Mrs. McCarthy at Holmes Elementary School, Mrs. Maccagnano at Lindbergh Elementary, Mr. Mitrovits at Edison Elementary School, and Mr. Huff at Hoover Elementary School!

The event will offer a wide range of activities for students and families like: Food Service will feature Farm-to-School stations with food samples, activities, and take-home cook kits; Activities hosted by KE Cheer, KE/KW Bowling, and Championship Martial Arts, along with additional games; Community organizations including the Ken-Ton Closet, Ken-Ton Family Support Center, Kaleida, and the Lions Club; AND a Bike Rodeo where students can bring their bikes for tune-ups, receive helmets (over 100 free helmets available), learn NYS biking rules of the road, and navigate a bike course.
