I have created this group as a way to bring together and support kids with special needs and their amazing families. This is a very new adventure for me but my hope is to cast a large net and reach as many families as I can. As parents or family members of children with special needs we all are acutely aware of celebrating every small victory. With every new member of this page my hope is to strengthen this community and help support our kids socially, academically and emotionally. You are already the best advocate for your child, now let's elevate our super powers. Every parent I meet with a special needs child I see a piece of myself reflected in them. These incredible humans work tirelessly to arrange therapies and play date opportunities , look for inclusive activities, tackle the dreaded, soul draining iep meetings. Mostly we except failure and defeat on a regular basis, then wake up with a smile on our face and hope in our heart for a new day. You are not alone, our kids are not alone. We are many and our voices are important and will be heard.
