📢 Important Campus Update: Air Quality & Outdoor Activities
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are closely monitoring the local air quality due to a scheduled wildland fire training exercise at the Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) Los Alamitos (conducted in partnership with the Orange County Fire Authority through June 15).
✅ Current Status: Our local Air Quality Index (AQI) remains in the "Green/Good" zone (low 50s).
🎒 Our Precautionary Steps:
Out of an abundance of caution to keep our students and staff safe, we are temporarily moving several activities inside:
Indoor PE: Physical Education classes will be held indoors.
Indoor Lunch: Lunch periods will be held inside.
Limited Outdoor Time: Other outdoor activities will be strictly limited.
The health and safety of our campus community is our absolute highest priority. Our team will continue monitoring the air quality throughout each day and will share prompt updates if anything changes.
