Hello Friends! This special guy, my Owen, is a senior. He’ll be off to college before we know it. I’ve been thinking about these important months before we become empty nesters and how to take the most advantage of that time. A few things will change for me . You’ll still find my cards on the “You’ve got mail” wall, but my book and vintage selling days are done with the end of this year. Junk journals will be at the shop for Mother’s Day, along with a bunch of Mother’s Day cards. You’ll find some of my vintage-inspired, handmade items at “Christmas in July.” AND next November, get ready for a bonanza of Papertarian holiday creations. I’ll be working on them all year! I’m looking forward to this focus on what I enjoy most about my small business : making! And I’m very excited to spend as much time as I can with my dudes. 💖

The Book Nook shelves are the fullest they’ve ever been! Thanks to a blast of clarity, (Do I really need 9 books about butterflies?) I sorted through my personal collection of vintage books. They overflowed my bookshelves and were piled on the floor. So, 3 boxes later, the shop is loaded with even more delicious reads. When you’re at the shop, take a few minutes to relax on the comfy couch, sip a DeGino brew, and browse the pages of a beautiful book.

Owen and his lovely lady, Savanna, had a fantastic time at Verrado’s homecoming last night. 🥰🥰🥰 Savanna styled them in her thrifting finds and the result was GROOVY!

What to do on a holiday weekend? At our house the answer is often “head to the ‘Dillo!” This time we went treasure hunting at the Phoenix location . There are SO MAMY cool things and we had a great time reminiscing about the things that we grew up with.
