Villanova Math Club

Hello everyone!
In light of finals starting, Math Club has made finals survival packs. They will be in the Math office (SAC 203) starting Monday 12/12.
Thank you and good luck with studying!

As you may or may not know, math club supports a organization called The Starfish Foundation. It was started by a Villanova mathematics major alum (Beth Awalt) and is now four years old! The foundation supports children in Ecuador by providing school supplies, uniforms, and the opportunity for education.

Every year, they host a national event on "Giving Tuesday" with the help of supporters around the country. This year, along with some local friends, we were able to set up our own fundraiser! Info listed below:

WHAT: One-day fundraiser supporting Starfish Foundation, 20% of the day's proceeds are donated ***WITH PRESENTATION OF FLYER (Attached in link)***

WHERE: Gullifty's Bar & Restaurant

WHEN: Tuesday December 1, 2015 from 11:00 AM-12:00 AM (Closing). There will be a special event from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM.


Please come out and support this wonderful foundation or feel free to stop by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics (in SAC305) to make a donation or online at the link below!

Hello Math Club!

We are so excited to be starting up the club again! Our first meeting will be:

Next Tuesday September 8, at 5:30 PM in the Math and Learning Resource Center (2nd Floor of Library)

We hope to see everyone there. We will be introducing ourselves, handing out the fall semester schedule, and talking about some of the goals and expectations of our group this year. There will be food!
