We are so proud of Professor Joanne Campbell, who recently presented her research at the prestigious 2026 History of Women Religious in Britain and Ireland (H-WRBI) Conference at Queen Mary University of London!

Her paper, Gaudium et Spes: Stewarding Sacred Space, explored how Rosemont’s architecture, landscape, and gardens function as active agents in education and formation — drawing on more than a decade of archival and ethnographic research.

Congratulations, Professor Campbell, on representing Rosemont with distinction on an international stage! 🇬🇧

While students are away for the summer, a dedicated group is caring for the Patrick Herman Memorial Garden — watering, weeding, planting, and preparing the beds so this meaningful campus space stays vibrant and welcoming.

Special thanks to Lucia Madron, Tori Jones, Bryce Simon, and the members of Rosegrow for their hands-on care and commitment. Their work keeps Patrick Herman’s memory alive in a place of growth, beauty, and community.

We are so grateful for our Summer Stewards!

We are incredibly proud of alumna Linda Romanowski, who recently joined Good Day PA on ABC27 to share the heartfelt story behind her book Final Touchstones.

In the interview with Meteorologist Brett Thackara, Linda discussed her family’s immigrant journey from Sicily to South Philadelphia in the early 1900s, a story she spent 40 years bringing to life through prose and poetry.

Linda earned her Master’s in Creative Writing from Rosemont, and her success highlights the strength of our program and the Rosemont College Alumni community. She also encouraged everyone to preserve their own family stories.

As she beautifully stated,

“Everyone has a story… and our stories are your stories; your stories are our stories.”

We celebrate Linda for shining a light on immigrant resilience and the power of storytelling!
