This year is definitely a hard one for me. 💔
I’m so sad that we won’t be having dance in Bryce Valley this year. I’ve put so much time, heart, and effort into making dance work there over the years. There have been plenty of challenges along the way—from fighting with the school board just to be able to perform, to fighting to keep the hours we had at the gym, and so many other things behind the scenes.
But through all of the hard things, there has also been SO much good. The girls have always made it worth it. I love watching them grow, gain confidence, make friendships, and find something they love. I have fought for them because I truly care about them and what dance has given them.
That’s why it’s especially hard to step away this year. I honestly don’t know what happened with the interest being so low this year, but sometimes things just don’t work out the way we hope they will.
I’m choosing to look at this as a year break rather than an ending. ❤️ I really hope we can come back next year, get back to normal, and hopefully have more girls excited and ready to dance again.
To all of my Bryce Valley dancers and families… Thank you for the years of support, memories, and love. You have no idea how much this program and these girls have meant to me. I’m going to miss you all this year, but I’m hopeful this is just a “see you next year.” 🩷
