The SAGE Homeschool Co-op board of directors met with Rev. Kiya at the Unitarian Universalist Church today and had a very productive conversation about proceeding with our co-op at the church for the next school year! 🙌

If you are interested in teaching a class next semester, please join us for an informational meeting on July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church. 📣

We will go over how we have restructured our board of directors, classroom expectations, teacher expectations, general co-op expectations, and clubs.

📝 Please bring your course or club ideas! We would like to know what subject you want to teach, what ages you want to teach, and your idea for pricing for your class.

📣 Please share this with any friends who are not in our Co-op already and may want to learn about being a teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year!

🌿 Introducing the 2026–2027 SAGE Homeschool Co-op Board of Directors! 🌿

As SAGE continues to grow, we're excited to share an important change in our leadership structure. This year, we are moving from a single director model to a board of 5 Co-Directors.

This change was made with several goals in mind:
✨ Greater transparency in decision-making
✨ Improved efficiency by sharing responsibilities
✨ More diverse perspectives and ideas
✨ Stronger support for our families, students, and volunteers
✨ Smoother day-to-day operations as our co-op continues to expand

We believe a collaborative leadership team will help SAGE better serve our community while ensuring that no one person carries the weight of running the co-op alone.

Please join us in welcoming and congratulating our 2026–2027 Board of Directors! We are grateful for their willingness to serve and excited for what lies ahead.

Some of our parents from Sage Homeschool Co-op are doing a homeschool talk this Friday in Brenham, Texas. We will have an experienced homeschool mom talking about the ins and outs of homeschooling. It will be from 2-4, Friday June 5th at the public library in Brenham, Texas.

We are nearing the end of the semester. Can you believe only one week of classes is left?! 🌱

We held our first STEM and Art show last Thursday, which demonstrated the outstanding capabilities of our students. Congratulations to all on your hard work and achievements.
