Make sure you take advantage of this time.
A surprising result from research at UC Davis. Babies as young as 10 months old can label their feelings with signs.
We had our first Sign, Say and Play class tonight. It's was great meeting everyone. Here is a tip for our mealtime class.
Have a pretend picnic: Animals, family members, paper plates, cups, spoons, blanket, etc. Lots of fun interaction, talking & signing!

HALLOWEEN CONTEST STARTS TOMORROW!! Submit a photo of your little one in his/her costume. Send over your friends and family to the Baby Signs Classes by Melinda page to LIKE our page and LIKE your photo to vote on it. We will have two ways to win. It's a 10-day contest 10/21 through 10/31. Five days after 10/21, on Saturday 10/26, I will randomly pick a winner from all of the submissions. Then on 10/31 at 10:00 pm, I will announce the winner based on the costume photo with the highest number of likes. So get those adorable kiddos dressed up, snap a pic., and post it here! Can't wait to see them- Join the fun!
