π Dear Huntington Families,
As our Read, Walk & Dance Triathlon comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to simply say thank you.
Every donation, every student who participated, every family who shared the fundraiser, and every person who encouraged their child to take part made a difference. It may be easy to look at a fundraiser and think about the goal or the dollar amount, but what those dollars really represent is opportunities, support, and experiences for our Huntington students and staff.
Because of the generosity of our Huntington families, the PTO is able to help fund things like:
β¨ Teacher Appreciation Week
π Our Angel Fund, which helps students and families in need
π Grants for teachers to bring new ideas and resources into their classrooms
π Recess carts and activities
βοΈ Field Day
π Our Sunshine Committee, which celebrates special moments in the lives of our teachers and staff and supports them during times of illness or loss
β¦and so much more throughout the school year.
As PTO Board members, we are incredibly grateful to have a community that continues to support what we do. We know there are so many places families can choose to give their time and money, and we don't take your support for granted. β€οΈ
We also want to give a HUGE thank you to our Triathlon Chair, Rachel, for all of the time, energy, creativity, and behind-the-scenes work she put into making this fundraiser happen. It takes a lot to pull something like this together, and we are so thankful for everything she has done!
And another big thank you to Mrs. Kraly and Mrs. Piper for all of their help with the Glow Dance portion of the Triathlon! We are so grateful for the time and energy they put into making it such a fun experience for our students. β¨ππͺ©
Finally, thank you to all of our amazing parent volunteers who helped along the way. Whether you helped with the event, donated your time, encouraged students, shared the fundraiser, or simply jumped in wherever you were needed β we appreciate you more than you know. π
Thank you for believing in the PTO, supporting our students and staff, and being part of what makes Huntington such a special community. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.
With gratitude,
Christine Krivos
PTO President
