First of all i want to thank everyone who came out to Lockhouse Gallery’s fundraiser and anniversary celebration! We had such an amazing turn out and so much fun. 🤩 If you happened to get photos or videos at the event i would love if you could tag us in them!

This week for adults we have beginner acrylic painting with Aimee!

Thursdays

5-6pm Comic Book Club
Kids ages 6-12 will learn about a new comic/cartooning related topic each week and work on comics and drawing skills.

(cancelled for tonight 8/19 due to illness 😢)
7-9pm Beginner Acrylic Painting (Adults/teens)
Aimee is back with another beginner friendly acrylic painting class! This week will be painting this adorable rainbow colored dog. All materials provided and no experience is necessary!

Thursday 8/13
1-3pm Comic Club - cartooning and comics class for kids ages 7-13 who love to draw $30
7-9pm Paint night with Aimee - Come join our relaxed and fun weekly paint night and reconnect with your inner artist. $30

Friday 8/14
5-7pm Farmers Market Art - stop by our table at the Brunswick Main Street farmers market and make some little monoprint stickers!
6-8pm Family Game Night - bring your friends or family by to learn to play a new board or car game. We will have a variety of game options available!

Saturday 8/15
5-8:30 pm Lockhouse Gallery anniversary party! Both lockhouse and Messy Bee Studio will be open for this event. Music, art, drinks, and friends all under two roofs!

We have open spots available for drop-in art tomorrow from 9-noon!
Ages 6-12! We've done so many fun projects already this week. Tomorrow the plan is to focus on drawing in a variety of mediums, including charcoal/pastels, pencil, and ink.

This week, Monday August 3rd - 7th kids from 1st -6th grade can join us every day from 9 am - noon for drop off open studio!

Even if your child can’t join for the entire week, you can sign them up for one day or a few days to have fun, make, play games, and get creative.

We didn’t have enough kids sign up for our build a board game camp but we will still be here getting into some creative mess-mess making, playing games, and having fun! 🤩
