Campus in Detail The architectural riches that abound on college campuses, but may at times go unnoticed, inspired the vision for CAMPUS in Detail.

As an architect, Carol Liscovitz is compelled to create a tangible way of celebrating the fine craftsmanship and architectural history that she encounters. These graphic representations provoke and stimulate the senses into a new way of seeing and encourage the campus community to seek out these architectural treasures/details with renewed awareness and delight. Just as the underlying purpose of these cards is to bring focus and attention to the splendor of our built environment and ultimately it's essential preservation, the production/printing and packaging of these cards are done in a sustainable and socially responsible manner for the purpose of preserving our planet and thereby reinforcing our commitment to the global community.

Carol Liscovitz is a local architect who has walked Bowdoin's campus throughout the 23 years she and her family have lived in Brunswick, Maine. Her appreciation for detail inspired the creation of these cards. Through the colorful expression of the fine craftsmanship and history of this campus, she hopes to encourage others to seek out Bowdoin's architectural riches with renewed awareness and delight.
