Perry and I have been teaching Preschool both in centers as well as in my home for a combined 23 years. I have raised three children of my own, so I understand how very important your children are to you. I understand that having your child attend preschool is a big step for both you and your child and I would like to share with you some reasons why I think my In-home preschool may be the best cho
ice for you and your family. Things we offer that larger preschools offer:
*We offer a full Preschool Curriculum
*We offer Field Trips (where families attend with the child)
*We have Holiday Class Parties
*We have A Christmas Pageant, and a Graduation Ceremony (Both performed on a stage at a local elementary school cafeteria to accommodate all the family members you and your child wish to invite.) In Addition to these special events we also offer things you will not find at larger schools:
*We have a beginning of the year picnic where children and parents can meet with each other as well as the teachers prior to class starting.
*We have an end of the year picnic at a park where the families are included.
* We have smaller ratios which assure that each child will get to know the friends in class and their teachers well. It also allows more direct one on one attention with your child, which in turn allows us to get a better understanding of each child's specific learning needs and provides us the time to help them individually with those needs.
*Due to small classes we also have the availability to give you daily updates on your child in person. Additional Perks:
*We offer the chance to purchase an end of the year yearbook made specifically of pictures of your child throughout the year.
*We will work with children who are not yet fully potty trained. The first seventeen years of my teaching experience were in four downriver preschools. The 9 years prior to opening my in home preschool I was a Cooperative Preschool Teacher/Director. The 2017-2018 school year will be my 7th year of In-home Preschool Classes. I do need to make a living at what I do, but I also know how hard the economic times are and so I try to make my prices as affordable as possible while keeping a high quality educational experience for your child. I believe each student is a wonderful unique individual and my staff and I make sure they are respected and treated as such. The children in my classes have a lot of fun in class, but they are always learning. Our 3 year old class runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. September-May. Our 4 year old class runs M/W/F 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Thank you for your time.
