What an incredible day at the 10th Annual Mile High Chapter Girls in Aviation Day! On September 21 at Sheltair, Rocky Mountain Metro Airport, we welcomed girls ages 8-18 for an inspiring journey into aviation and aerospace.
I was excited to fly in for the weekend and assist at the Colorado Pilots Association booth, chatting with future girl aviators. As well as connecting with all the amazing Women in Aviation International Mile High Chapter members and volunteers before heading out for a quick flight training session of my own!
A huge thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers, and participants who made this event a success. Your dedication to empowering young women in aviation is what makes events like this possible.

Escaped the 100+ degree heat in Arizona for a refreshing weekend back home in Colorado! Besides enjoying cooler temps, I had the incredible opportunity to continue my flight training with CFI Andy White. Andy's unmatched passion and knowledge not only elevate the learning experience but each session with him significantly enriches my journey as a pilot. Feeling grateful and recharged now back to college...

Four years ago, in 2020, after completing a ground school class at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, I had the incredible opportunity to take my discovery flight with EAA Young Eagles. This flight was led by John Barry, who would later become my mentor and glider CFI.
There are certain moments that stand out as life-changing milestones, and this was one of mine. At the time, I had no idea just how much this experience would shape my future.
You never know when your actions might facilitate a life-changing event in someone else’s life. I encourage everyone to embrace the role of a mentor, regardless of their profession or background. Whether you're in aviation, technology, education, or any other field, sharing your knowledge and experiences can have a profound impact on someone else's journey. You don’t need to have all the answers—sometimes it’s about offering guidance, encouragement, and support. By taking the time to invest in others, you can help them unlock their potential and create lasting change in their lives, just as mentors have done for me.

This semester, I'm excited to be part of the Fulton Accelerated Community Engagement (FACE) program at . Last week, I attended the welcome dinner where we were joined by Dan Fuller, former Vice President of the Customer Business Team for Business Aviation at Honeywell, where he spent 33 years, and now Principal at FullerAero, LLC Aerospace Consulting. He shared valuable insights on leadership and innovation in aviation, setting the tone for what’s ahead.
The FACE program is all about building leadership skills through hands-on projects, learning from industry experts, and collaborating with peers. I’m looking forward to diving into this experience, growing as a leader, and tackling impactful engineering challenges throughout the semester.
Thank you, Jennifer Wong, and the team for putting on such a wonderful event!

Before I was even born, a tragic event unfolded that would leave an indelible mark on the world and forever change the course of history. In 2001, September 11th started off as a normal Tuesday morning. The city of New York was bustling with the usual activity—people heading to work, school, and their daily routines. It was a day filled with the ordinary worries and concerns of life. Little did the people of New York, the United States, and the world know, it would become a day that would change life as we knew it.
In 2021, twenty years after that fateful day, I had the privilege of interviewing Surrie Berkowitz for a college class project during my sophomore year of high school. At the time of the September 11th attacks, she was working at the master control for CBS Television in New York City.
Through our conversation, she recounted the unimaginable events that unfolded that day and the deep tragedy that struck so many, including her coworkers. Her story is a powerful reminder of the personal and collective losses experienced during one of the darkest moments in modern history.

I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the invitation from Loxley A. Browne to join the Board of Advisors for Athenian, a visionary organization dedicated to empowering middle and high school girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Art, and Math, particularly within the high-income transportation sector.
At Athenian, our mission is clear: to open doors and build pathways that encourage young women to explore and excel in careers where they are underrepresented. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a cause close to my heart – creating an environment where the next generation of leaders in STEM can thrive.
I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members to strategize and expand Athenian's impact. We are committed to making a significant difference in the lives of these young women by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.
Let's drive change together!

Elijah Huang and I made prom night extra special by mixing it with our passion for flying! All dressed up, we didn’t just head to the dance — we also snapped some incredible photos with the classic P-51 Mustang.
It was a memorable day where we got to show everyone how much we love being pilots. Being a pilot is more than just flying; it’s about seizing every opportunity to share our passion with others.
