🗳️ **Friends, have you checked your voter registration lately?**

We’ve heard from a few members who thought everything was fine, only to discover there was an issue with their voter registration status.

So we’re encouraging **everyone to take a minute and check!** ❤️

If you’re already registered, make sure your information is current. If you’re **not registered yet, now is the time to get registered!**

And while you’re at it, remind your family and friends to check theirs too. A quick check today can help make sure you’re ready when it’s time to vote. 🇺🇸🗳️

**Check it. Update it. Get registered. Be ready to vote!**

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and longtime KARE Treasurer, Mary “Jean” Shilk. Jean was a dedicated educator, a generous volunteer, and a treasured member of our KARE family. She gave freely of her time and talents, always serving with kindness, dependability, and a genuine desire to help others.

We will miss Jean’s warm spirit, her friendship, and the many ways she contributed to KARE over the years. We are grateful to have known her and to have shared in a small part of a life so devoted to education, service, family, and friends.

Jean will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all of us at KARE. ❤️

Celebrate the life of Mary Shilk, leave a kind word or memory and get funeral service information care of Neptune Society.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We honor the thousands of innocent lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memories, and the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable loss.

More than two decades later, we remember not only the sorrow of that day, but also the courage, compassion, and unity that brought people together in its aftermath.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🎉🇺🇸 WOW—what an incredible KARE meeting today! 🇺🇸🎉

We had an amazing day filled with community, conversation, generosity, and FUN! More than 120 people joined us for a fantastic Candidate Forum featuring 15 candidates seeking state office in our area. What a turnout!

👏 A huge thank you to Janelle Meyer for speaking to us about Mesa Outreach and sharing more about the important work happening in our community.

❤️ And our KARE members showed up in a BIG way for our food drive! Together, we donated an incredible 430 POUNDS OF FOOD to Katy Christian Ministries! What an amazing example of what can happen when our community comes together to help our neighbors.

120+ attendees. 15 candidates.
430 pounds of food donated. One fantastic KARE meeting! 🎉🙌

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, donated, volunteered, and helped make today such a tremendous success. We are so grateful for this wonderful community! ❤️🇺🇸

Join us on October 14th at the Ag Center for our next meeting. 📅
