Our leadership team received our first major shipment of furniture this week — a huge milestone for our campus! Even more exciting, renovations and beautification efforts are already underway.

Last week, our Kwenda team had the privilege of volunteering with at their Food Pantry in Brooklyn 💛

From set-up to distribution, we were proud to support an organization that works tirelessly to serve our community with dignity and care. Huge thank you to Mauricio, Alessia, and the entire Love Wins NYC team for welcoming us and for the incredible work you do every day.

Service is at the heart of who we are at Kwenda — and we’re grateful for opportunities to show up, give back, and stand in solidarity with our neighbors. 💚✨

Kwenda Collegiate Girls had a wonderful time participating in the Winter Wonderland event at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral this week! ❄️✨

Our team loved connecting with families, sharing information about our school community, and celebrating alongside so many amazing children enjoying the winter-themed activities.

Kwenda Collegiate Girls will be opening this fall at 2520 Church Ave!

We will serve K–1, adding one grade each year through 5th grade, with plans to expand to 8th grade. Kwenda is a tuition-free, all-girls school focused on strong academics and joyful learning.

✨ We offer free early drop-off, free STEAM-focused after-school programming, and a one-of-a-kind curriculum that includes Somatic Movement and Dance and Voice & Empowerment—classes uniquely built into the Kwenda school day.

✨This past weekend, our Kwenda Family Outreach Team had the absolute joy of celebrating Kwanzaa with 💜

We spent the day connecting with families through arts & crafts and bracelet making, sharing creativity, culture, and community ✨🎨

Moments like these remind us how powerful it is when we come together to celebrate, create, and uplift one another 🤗💜

✨❄️ The Kwenda Team sends our heartfelt thanks to all the vendors, organizations, volunteers, and families who joined us for Kwenda’s Winter Festival this past Saturday. In celebration of Three Kings Day, every girl received a free toy, made her own crown and wand, and enjoyed music and face painting. Even with the snow falling, you showed up, celebrated with us, and reminded us just how strong and joyful the Kwenda community is. 👑💙
