Pratt Ceramics Department

“Making Ceramics in the Digital Age” begins next week! A two week exhibition plus individual invited artist presentations/demos in Dekalb Gallery on Pratt’s main campus. On Tuesday, October 29 at 12:30pm Adam Chau will be speaking on his work that incorporates digital output to a CNC machine to paint in cobalt on ceramic forms.....See you there!

While some of you are on the beach for Spring Break, there will be 6 students, faculty Michael Fujita and myself attending the 50th annual NCECA conference in Kansas City! Pratt will have a table in the Resource Hall this year, so stop by and say "Hello"! Will be posting pictures of some of the highlights.....

Congrats to Max Schidlovsky whose work has been chosen to represent Pratt in the Invitational Student Exhibition at the National Arts Club in April.

Visiting Artist Beth Katleman will give a presentation on her work in the Ceramics Studio, Tuesday, February 23 at 5:30pm. All are welcome!

Excited to announce new Ceramic/ Sculpture Faculty for Spring 2016: Kathy Butterly will be teaching Clay As Canvas and Julia M. Kunin will be teaching the Grad Ceramics section.
