Huge congratulations to Peter, todayโs โdouble dripโ winner!! Peter was the first student to come to the evening classes in matching Daruma tops and bottoms and won a cash prize of five American dollars!!! ๐ต. (No other dojos are doing cash prizes) if you want to enter into the competition just show up in matching gear and it could be your lucky day. More prizes to come!!

Very proud of Wonchun, Aliya and the rest of the team who represented Daruma Martial Arts in amazing style. Aliya had many tough, close matches and was able to secure her first competition win!! Amazing first showing.
Wonchun showed up as a busy 46 year old in the 18-29 division and proceeded to dismantle 4 tough young guys in a row before losing a close match in the final and securing a silver medal ๐ฅ
Lastly I am so grateful for all the support our athletes received from the rest of the team. An incredible amount of people came to show support with some people staying the whole day!! We were the best supported despite being in our Dojo infancy. Not only did our athletes receive support on the day but during the whole build up to the tournament. You are out in the mats by yourself when you compete but Jiu Jitsu is a team sport and no one gets good by themselves. Thanks guys!!! ๐๐๐ป๐๏ธ
