The tiny nautilus may help illuminate the history of brain development It's an oddball relic from the prehistoric past, but the nautilus, a tiny cephalopod, is surprisingly complex. Apart from its iconic shell shape and unique behavior, scientists say it may also teach us about the evolution of the brain.
