Home education project tailored to toddlers and preschoolers, fosters early learning through art, science, math, and a bit of technology.

This is a fantastic demonstration of how science can turn everyday items into a magical spectacle. First, we start with a bowl of water and add some dish soap, mixing it thoroughly to create a soapy solution. Then, we take a slinky and dip it into the soapy water, raising one end of it. Now comes the fun part - we grab a paper straw, dip it into the soapy water, and blow a bubble inside the slinky, attaching it from the inside. If your child is at the point where they know all the letter sounds, they are ready to start blending those sounds together to make words! "CVC" words are words that begin and end with a consonant, and have a short vowel in the middle. • 👉🏼Want to start working on this skill but not sure where to start? With each new word she makes, she will write it under the coordinating colored egg (with the matching "word family") in the learning journal.
