After 50 years of teaching and 44 at Murrow, today was his last day. We wish him the best of luck and thank him for his unwavering dedication and commitment.

Brooklyn teacher Eliot Weiss retires after 50 years, dozens of chess team wins Thursday marked the end of an era for Brooklyn teacher Eliot Weiss, who spent half a century in the classroom and built a legacy known around the country. CBS News New York's Hannah Kliger shares the fond farewells and lessons learned over the decades.

Mr. Weiss says goodbye to Murrow after 44 years in the building and 50 teaching.
