Hello everyone! ⚙️🛠️Our next event is a joint event with the New York SWE chapter. this Wednesday at 6:30pm. It’s a wrap for SWE Fall 2023!! Thank you all for an amazing semester 💕 This year we were able to fund 25 undergrad and graduate women to travel to WE23 in Los Angeles, organized handfuls of great corporate and social events with awesome companies like Reddit, and overall had an incredible time learning about everyone who showed up (thank you!). We are so excited to bring you all another space this spring! We would also like to have a little send off for our lovely President .pola ! She has been incredible in governing SWE this past semester and is going to crush whatever comes next! See you all soon!! ⭐️

❓Major

Computer Science

❓Where did you work

I worked at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation as an IT Intern on the Enterprise Intelligence team!

❓What did you work on?

I worked with various enterprises, ranging from cybersecurity to human resources, to create, optimize, and automate analytics reports that allow decision makers to maintain valuable information assets and promote development within the organization. I worked with tools like Splunk and AWS to ingest data and calculate strategic and operational performance metrics, all while working with clients to address pain points and understand their business needs.

❓What was your favorite part?

My favorite part was definitely the people I met and having the opportunity to collaborate with so many employees across departments! It was so interesting getting to learn and work with other teams to support their projects, as speaking with employees gave me a sense of how the various departments within DTCC are interrelated and work as a whole. I also really loved spending time with other interns, whether it was our lavender matcha runs in the office, going around Jersey City looking for the best ice cream shops, or an escape room after work!
