Drawing and Painting, taught in American Sign Language, will explore many approaches to drawing and painting, with experimentation and skill-building guiding the students' investigations. With a blank surface and a selection of media (graphite, charcoal, watercolor or pastel), the options are endless!

This class will be taught in American Sign Language. Students do not need to be fluent, but a passing understanding is required. This class has a registration fee of $50 and begins on February 14 at Pratt’s Main Campus.

Three Center K-12 office assistants displayed work around Brooklyn over the fall. Pratt alumni and former Center K-12 student staff members Maria Montes and Angel Ortega joined forces in a group show, "Nos Sentimos...," with Edward Hernandez in the Pratt Photo Galllery. Natalia Gonzales, a Center K-12 office assistant, participated in "Collective Heritage: Honor the Past, Inspiring the Future," a group show with other members of the Pratt Latinx Student Alliance, at the King's County Supreme Court for Hispanic Heritage Month.

We are proud to share some of the creative work completed by our high school DICE Illustration class in the fall. These pieces are part of a project in which the students created illustrations for Little Red Riding Hood. We're looking forward to more exciting projects as our spring programs kick off in February.
