Children’s Day is celebrated annually in Brazil on October, 12th. It is celebrated on the same day of ‘Nossa Senhora de Aparecida’, a saint venerated by Brazilian Catholics.

In this day, adults normally gift children with toys, games, or clothes. It is also a day to promote fun activities to children and teens!

A fun fact is that many Brazilians replace their social media profile picture by a photo of when they were children. It has become a national trend!

Did you know about Children’s Day? Would you like this commemorative date in the U.S? Comment here! 💚💛💙
