🤚🏻From when children are babies, touch plays an important role in the child's world.
It is also one of the first senses to develop completely, as an infants entire body is sensitive to touch by 32 weeks. In a multi-sensory approach to learning touch is a key factor and is known as 'tactile learning'.
Satisfying child's curiosity and need to feel objects and substances with different patterns, textures and shapes has a big impact on brain development.
💫Here are a few things you can do for tactile development games: writing on rice, touching objects of various shapes and guessing them, playing with bubble water and safe soap.

🎨As the leaves start turning all kinds of different colors - it's a good time for a color mix activity!
💫Fall is here in all its beauty and variety of bright changing patterns. Here at the Dumbo Gan we decided to experiment and see what color mixes can we come up with to color our leaves.
💛You can do this activity at home, or you can come and join us in exploring how many shades red, orange, yellow and other color can have.
It's a great way for kids to practice creativity, independent and critical thinking, cognitive skills and team work.
Talk to your children about fall and changing colors this week. See what funny answers and ideas they can come up with.

🍎Harvest season is coming and we wanted to learn more about what grows on trees. Teaching kids about where all the fresh produce come from encourages them to get curious about natural organic sources of food and all the benefits.
Talk to your child about different fruits and vegetables and where they come from
- Apples come from trees
- Grapes grow on vines
- Potato grows under the ground
- And did you know that pine apple grows from the ground?
✨That's right, contrary to popular belief they don't grow on trees.
🤍It's an interesting activity, try it at home.
At the end you can discuss your favorite fruits and vegetables and the ways to grow them.
