Built from the ground up. 🏗️
95 years ago, Brooklyn Technical High School was just steel and scaffolding—these photos capture the very beginning of something extraordinary.
Today, that legacy lives on through generations of Technites.

We’re proud to highlight Tracyavon Ford, a dedicated social worker at Brooklyn Technical High School and advisor to My Sister’s Keeper. 💙
Her impact is felt across the entire Tech community. Whether she’s mentoring young women through MSK or supporting any student who needs a steady hand, she shows up every day with compassion, strength, and care.
Last month, she was recognized among “extraordinary women” at a citywide Women’s History Month Reception hosted by NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams ’94 and other elected officials—a full-circle moment with a Technite honoring one of our own.
Recognition like this isn’t limited to one month. Join us in celebrating Tracyavon Ford! ✨

They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb—and today in Fort Greene, it couldn’t have felt more true. ☀️🐑
