Happy First Day of School, WHSAT families!

The WHSAT Parent Association is excited to welcome our returning families back and extend an extra special welcome to all of the parents, guardians, and students joining our Wolf Pack for the first time this year. 🐺

As our students begin another year of learning, creating, growing, and discovering what’s possible, we’re looking forward to building an even stronger parent community alongside them.

📣 INCOMING 9TH GRADE PARENTS & GUARDIANS — WELCOME TO WHSAT! 💙💛

As we get ready for a new school year, we want to make sure our newest WHSAT students and their parents/guardians feel prepared for the first day!

WHSAT will host **Incoming 9th Grade Welcome & Readiness Days** on:

📅 September 8 & 9
⏰ 10 AM • 11 AM • 3 PM • 5 PM

During your scheduled 45-minute visit, you and your student can:

🪪 Pick up your student’s WHSAT ID
📝 Confirm & update important information
🏫 Take a brief tour of the school
💬 Connect with WHSAT staff
❓ Ask any questions you may have before the school year begins

📣 Attention WHSAT Parents of Juniors & Seniors!

Help your student get a head start on college!

The Guttman Community College College Now Program allows eligible NYC public high school juniors and seniors to earn FREE college credits while still attending high school.

✔️ No tuition
✔️ No textbook costs
✔️ College-level courses
✔️ Valuable experience before graduation

📅 Program: September 19 – December 19, 2026
📅 Application Deadline: September 13, 2026

Seats are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage families to apply as soon as possible.

Please review the attached flyer for course descriptions, eligibility requirements, enrollment steps, and the required parent consent form.

What a beautiful evening at our WHSAT PTA Craft Night! 🌷✨

A heartfelt thank you to the parents who joined us for an evening of creativity, connection, and community. Participants designed their own colorful floral arrangements, shared laughs, and enjoyed time together while creating something special to take home. 🌼💐

Events like these remind us that our school community is strongest when families come together. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so memorable!

We look forward to hosting more opportunities for parents to connect, create, and engage with one another throughout the year. 💜

🏀 SUMMER SPORTS REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🏸🏓

Looking for a way to stay active this summer? The PSAL Summer Sports, Fitness, and Recreation Program is open for registration for students entering grades 9–12 in Fall 2026, including incoming freshmen!

Sports Offered:
🏸 Badminton
🏀 Basketball
🏓 Table Tennis

📅 Session 1: July 13 – July 28
📅 Session 2: July 29 – August 13
⏰ Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Students do NOT need to attend the host school to participate.
