This month I will meet you where you are, literally. Let us let September feel like a fresh start as we unwind from summer and gear up for Fall. My offerings this month are with all in mind.

I am offering ONE in-person workshop with my friends at haricovert so we can get tactile and physical with that and our community, but otherwise, I’d like to share my virtual offerings, that I feel very excited about:

On the last week of Summer, I am inviting us to slow down and reflect. I am hosting a VIRTUAL Summer Wind Down session where we look back at our past season and get grounded in the present so we are ready for Fall.

On the first full day of Fall, I am welcoming us to get cozy and set our Fall Intentions as call in all the things we want for the season ahead.

I invite you to sign up for these workshops as a BUNDLE or pick one that feels right / aligns with your schedule and sign up for that.

These workshops are perfect if you can only make one, but I am creating them with both in mind. No repeat prompts, plenty of freshness and newness.

I have found that this summer everyone has been running around, and so I carved out virtual time for us to gather after the sunset, in the comfort of wherever you are, for some mindfulness and self-care.

And let us not forget about Mindful Morning! This month we get to squeeze in THREE Mindful Mornings. Kick off your Wednesday morning with us :)

Something we love here at Journaling Classes is celebration. At this workshop, we happened to be celebrating a few of our journalers’ birthdays, shout out Sarah and joie, so of course I brought cupcakes and candles for them to make a birthday wish and be showered with love.
But, in addition, everyone got a cupcake and candle. Yes. We all took a moment to set an intention, make a wish, and collectively blow out our candles together.
Sometimes we have to dig a little deeper to find something worth celebrating. And when we can’t, we can always turn to making a wish or setting an intention.
Also, did you know you can make a vision board any day of the year—not just at the start of a new one? You don’t need January to reconnect with what you’re hoping for.
Such a magical evening of creativity, community, and play at our favorite place, Flower Cat

Beauty in the ritual. Private clients and workshops are some of my favorite experiences because they create a depth we rarely get in our day-to-day lives. I felt so honored to be part of one of our Journaling Classes regular’s special day and celebrate her birthday with a journaling workshop in the coziness of her home.

There is so much power in gathering in a circle and creating rituals together. We began the evening by lighting candles and sharing our intentions, and we ended by blowing out our candles and making a wish.

I love celebrating people, and I especially love doing it through mindfulness, intention, and meaningful connection. What a beautiful way to honor another trip around the sun. Thanks for bringing me in Courtney Terr 🎂

I have not posted custom floral order pictures in a while so here are a few from Valentine’s Day 2026. As a florist, Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest days of the year - awesome. But this year, I took care of my well being, and chose to take on only a handful of orders.

One of those orders was my favorite yearly customer - James!! Whomst I briefly dated but then ended things and set up with his now current love, my friend August!! Shoutout to those homies - more of a post on that later :)

It’s likely, if you know me, you know I love love. In all shapes and forms. I love big and loud!!! I typically love Valentines Day even though I’m mostly single for them. Though, I feel the capitalistic Holiday squeezes us in a way that pressured, inauthentic and weird frankly. We can choose to celebrate love 365 not just on feb 14.

This year, I made my arrangements in my robe and mostly did orders for pick up only - with a few exceptions!!! Those who ordered came by and picked up from me, in my robe and pajamas. I love that I get to choose what I take on or not. I get to shape things in a way that feels good and right for me.

And just fyi guys, DONT FORGET TO GET YOUR FLORISTS FRIENDS FLOWERS TOO!!!!

Non-aesthetic but current journaling prompts for you…Pretty wicked retrograde the past few weeks... but great news: it ends on Thursday, July 23. She’s stationing direct, and while the retrograde officially wraps then, the shadow period will still be lingering until August 7. Keep sitting with yourself, things, and journal journal till then! Things might still feel a little shaky for us, and that’s okay.
That said, here are a few journaling prompts and reflections I’m personally sitting with before Thursday as I look back on the last few weeks we’ve experienced. I will start taking action on bigger things AFTER August 7th, and floating along more intentionally and actively after the 23rd
Save this and come back to it whenever it feels right for you.
Sending love, and see ya on the other side.

Places I put pen2paper in Africa + Journaling Exercise and reflection in caption:
Earlier this summer I got the chance to go to Africa with my 85 year old grandparents. Boy, there was a lot to journal about on this trip.

My biggest reminders and takeaways were:
it really is that simple.
Quality time with people we love is the best type of experience.
Slowing down is such a luxury and gift.
I am so grateful for the Act of Noticing.

JOURNALING EXERCISE:
Turn on a song you like, ideally one with no lyrics, for the entirety of the song and doodle, do not lift your pen/marker/pencil up. Doodle till the song is over. Do not judge where or how your utensils moves. Meditate on it by keeping your wrist flowing. Let the song finish.
Then, start the song over and put pen to paper in free form writing until the song is over. Rip it. Don’t lift your pen or pencil up for the entirety of the song. Do not judge what comes up on your pages. Just write.

Truly a once in a life time experience that I still cannot wrap my head around but I wanted to share that stepping into this trip and away from work for those two weeks, and a lot of this summer is exactly what my spirit needed. I didn’t bring my laptop [which was a first for me on travel], and deleted most apps while away — not scrolling on my email or Tiktok did me a good one and makes it hard to come back. But being back, I am feeling rejuvenated and inspired to continue to share about my work, passions and business from the heart centered place FIRST!! Excited what this juicy inspiration will bring for the community now that I’m back!

Women want whiskey too. Had such an amazing time bringing Flower Therapy Bouquet Bar to the women at Maker's Mark for a special Happy Hour mixer.

I love finding ways to elevate the corporate happy hour. Our Bouquet Bars assist in doing so. Whether it’s flowers, thoughtful experiences, or interactive offerings, I’m always looking to bring a more human touch into the room.

Thank you Suntory Global Spirits and Maker's Mark for having me!

Life long student clocking in!!! I am so grateful for my willingness to be a beginner, always. Delighted to wrap up my 12-week Sound Meditation Training with Bowl Club • Sound Leadership Training. I capped it off with a FINAL!! Yes, a final exam!! Which was a 20-minute sound meditation for the class. It felt so good to be nervous. That meant that I care. I love to care.
This past spring/summer, I dropped in and committed myself to learning the craft/art/skills of sound bowls and got to learn from someone I’ve admired for so long, Jacqueline Cantwell and Lindsay Monal • Sound & Yoga • NJ / NYC.

We didn’t just study sound bowls, but we had an amazing curriculum on things ranging from therapeutic sound design, metaphysics, energetic hygiene, and trauma-informed facilitation.

You’d be surprised how hard it can be to show up weekly when your life is busy and full, but committing to this space and practice was important to me.

Showing up as a guest in this space was a delight, and it feels so good to sharpen my tools and add new ones to the shed!!

These are the words I found myself often telling myself as I flowed through the experience:
I am not afraid to be bad.
I am brave enough to be a beginner.
I am worthy of learning.
I am smart and intelligent.
I am expanding my gifts and offerings to serve others and myself.
