We’re playing at the Lake Harriet Bandshell on Sunday, June 22nd at 5:30 PM. It’s one of the best spots in the Twin Cities to hear live music—right on the water, with great sound, plenty of space, and a sunset view that pretty much does our lighting design for us.
Bring a blanket, a lawn chair, a friend, your dog—whatever works. We’ll bring the horns, grooves, and a setlist full of funk, soul, and classic horn band hits.

Annual Spring Recital, held at Tradition Senior Living in Brooklyn Park. Congratulations to all performers!

Samuel performed at the MMTA Honors Concert last Saturday! Statewide top winners from the 2025 Contests performed in ensembles of multiple grand pianos onstage at the Minneapolis Convention Center to a packed house. A very exciting day! Big congratulations on a great year, Samuel!

Samuel is an MMTA Finalist WINNER! At State Contests, he performed again his memorized and finely polished piece, "The Unsung" by Claiborne. The judge commented that he was so fluid with it that it sounded like he wrote it himself, with a particularly sensitive touch. Yes indeed! Samuel now will participate in the statewide Honors Concert May 31 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. That will be quite a big day!

Samuel was awarded a Winner status at the MMTA Solo Piano Festival last weekend. He memorized and performed "The Unsung" by Claiborne, Junior A category.

This contest challenges a young student many ways. Samuel advanced in technical and expressive musical skills. Attention to detail is required. Patient, consistent efforts over several months are expected. He learns memorization. He learns how to perform under pressure.

In March, Samuel advances to State Finals, again performing "The Unsung." Keep climbing, Samuel!
