ππ€ Happy Dark Matter Day! π€π
Did you know that most of the universe is made up of something we canβt even see? Itβs true β and today, on Dark Matter Day (October 31), we celebrate one of the biggest mysteries in science!
π΅οΈββοΈ What is dark matter?
Scientists believe dark matter makes up about 85% of the matter in the universe, but it doesnβt emit light or energy β which means we canβt see it, touch it, or detect it easily. We only know itβs there because of how it affects the things we can see, like galaxies and stars.
π So why should kids care?
Because mysteries like this are what make STEM exciting! Dark Matter Day encourages young minds to ask big questions, think critically, and explore the unknown β the very heart of science.

CRISPR, short for Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat, is a technology that edits genes by finding specific bits of DNA inside a cell. Once the DNA is identified, it proceeds to alter a piece of it or to turn genes on or off.
