Please nominate them to be considered for the 2026 Distinguished American Indian Alumnus recognized at the annual American Indian & Indigenous Alumni Dinner on March 27th, 2026 and the annual Wetu Wacipi by the American Indian Student Association (AISA) on March 28th, 2026. We are so excited to invite you to attend the second annual Alumni Dinner hosted by the Wokini Initiative | AISC, AIIS, and the Office of Wokini welcome you to reconnect with fellow alum, current students, and campus partners while celebrating our shared experiences and continued presence at SDSU!

The alumni dinner of course helps kick off the main event - The 34th annual Wetu Wacipi hosted by the American SD State American Indian Student Association 🎉💙💛Free to all ages! This year the Wacipi will take place in the Volstorff Ballroom in the student union with the focus being Indigenous fashion and art🎨

We are excited to cohost the 2nd Annual Native American Heritage Night with SDSU Athletics for the SD State Jacks v. Georgia State Panthers game on Friday, November 21st, 2025 at 7pm. This programming welcomes everyone to a fun night of friendly competition, recognizing our Indigenous student orgs: AISA and AISES, while also recognizing the strength and resiliency of all American Indian & Indigenous peoples and Tribal Nations across the region.
