“Simply Piarist.” Two simple words, but they carry the heart of St. Joseph Calasanz. He did not dream of fame or power. He simply wanted to bring children closer to God through education, kindness, and presence. Guided by the care of the Blessed Mother, The Our Lady of the Pious Schools, the Piarist mission continues with simplicity, humility, and love for the young.
In a world full of noise, pride, and showing off, “Simply Piarist” is our reminder to stay real. Lead a Simple life. Posess a Simple heart. Live a Simple mission. Like Calasanz and under the mantle of Our Lady of the Pious Schools, we continue to serve, teach, listen, and journey with young people, believing that simple acts done with love can change lives.

Today, as the Church commemorates The Feast of Saint Joachim and Saint Anne, co-patrons of the Order of the Pious Schools, Br. Ernesto Cuba, Sch.P. renewed his simple vows for another year in the Piarist Order in Havana, Cuba. "I give thanks to God for the gift of consecrated life."

From July 12 to 18, 2026, the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, hosted the XVIII Meeting of the Latin American Network of Institutes and Centers of Youth Ministry, hosted by the House of Youth and the Center for Pastoral Formation of the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo, under the motto "Wandering youth, building bridges on every border.

Piarist seminarian Albert Moliner, Sch.P. was ordained a priest on June 13 at the Sacred Heart Parish in Barcelona by Auxiliary Bishop David Abadías.

Our Piarist formation house in Torpa, where 26 young men are making their vocational discernment. Together with them, we celebrated Holy Mass, enjoyed a creative performance by our hosts, and had the chance to get to know one another.

After lunch, we hiked to a nearby hill, where breathtaking views provided the perfect setting for meaningful conversations and shared fellowship. It was an inspiring day that filled our hearts with hope, seeing so many young people generously answering God’s call to serve, following the example of St. Joseph Calasanz.
