Mark your calendars for a few special events happening this week:

🇺🇸 Wednesday, September 23 – See You at the Pole
Join us at 7:20 AM at the kindergarten flagpole for student-led prayer with our ECC and Edison students. 🙏

🪩 Thursday, September 24 – Pre-K Disco Day
This event is Pre-K only! Our Pre-K friends will be celebrating the letter D with a groovy Disco Day! Students may wear 70s attire or neon colors if they have them. ✌️🕺💃

🩷 Friday, 9-25 – Dolly Day!
We’ll celebrate Dolly Parton and the Imagination Library! 📚✨ Students are encouraged to wear PINK—our Pre-K color of the week—or dress a little Dolly-inspired! 🎀

It’s going to be another exciting week of learning, celebrating, and making memories at ECC! 💜💛

What better way to end our week of learning all about the letter C than with the CUTEST little visitor! 🥰

Our Pre-K friends were so excited to meet Hazel, the sweetest baby cow from Junod Acres Farm! 🐮 She made her way around to visit all of our Pre-K classrooms, and there were plenty of smiles, giggles, pets, and LOTS of love for Hazel!

We love bringing learning to life and creating special experiences our little learners will remember. C Week was definitely one for the books! ❤️

💛🍪 WE DID IT, ECC! $8,000 FOR ST. JUDE! 🍪💛

We are absolutely overwhelmed by the love and generosity shown during our annual Pre-K St. Jude Cookie Sale!

We set a goal to surpass the $5,000 raised last year, and our amazing school and community showed up in a HUGE way. Together, we raised an incredible…

🎉 $8,000 FOR ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL! 🎉

What started as a simple cookie sale has become something so much bigger. Each year during C Week, our Pre-K students sell cookies in honor of children who have fought, are currently fighting, or have been affected by childhood cancer. 💛

This would not have been possible without SO many people.

🍪 A huge thank-you to Mrs. Susan Stice and our cafeteria staff for helping make all of the cookies. That is a LOT of cookies, and we are so grateful for the time, work, and love that went into preparing them!

💛 Thank you to everyone who donated cookie-making supplies and helped make sure we had everything needed for the sale.

💛 Thank you to our local businesses and community members who generously donated and supported our fundraiser. We are incredibly blessed to live in a community that continually shows up for our kids and for causes that matter.

💛 Thank you to our ECC students and families who sent donations, purchased cookies, shared our fundraiser, and helped us spread the word.

💛 And thank you to our teachers, staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helped organize, sell, collect, count, bake, package, and make this day possible.

Every quarter, every dollar, every donated item, and every helping hand added up to something AMAZING.

Last year: $5,000.
This year: $8,000! 🙌💛

That is $8,000 going toward the lifesaving work of St. Jude and helping children and families facing childhood cancer.

Our students may be little, but together with their families, school, and community, they can make a BIG difference.

💜💛 SEE YOU AT THE POLE 💛💜

On Wednesday, September 23, ECC and Edison students will come together in recognition of See You at the Pole.

We will gather outside the Kindergarten building at the flagpole, where students from Pre-K through 2nd grade will lead us in prayer for our school, our students, our staff, our families, and our community. 🇺🇸

We love giving our Little Pirates the opportunity to come together and lead such a special moment. 💜💛

C is for COOKIE… but this week, it means so much more. 🍪💛

During Letter C week in Pre-K, we hold our annual Cookie Sale to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 🎗️

We do it in honor of some of our very own Little Pirates who have fought cancer and those who are currently fighting. 💛

Today our little hands served cookies for a BIG cause—because no child should have to fight cancer alone. 🫶
