This was the most number of times I calligraphed someone’s name. Personalized everything😍 And what an honor that I got to put her name on her certificate! HUGE CONGRATS to my coach on her brown belt promotion over the weekend! She’s the first woman brown belt from Gracie Barra in Michigan, the best coach, and one of the kindest and most inspiring women I know❤️💪🏼🔥 Parabéns, Aline! 😘

Recently started practicing Spencerian script and I’m in love! Same metallic ink. Different lightings. Btw, I’m officially done with holiday cards and gifts, and we’re still in the first half of January! #win This was my first year sending out holiday cards. Of course, I made a rookie mistake and didn’t order them until December 5🤪 Estimated delivery dates were December 13 - 15. I got a hold of customer service a few days later and was told it’d be delivered by December 23rd. Nope. Canceled order. That was disappointing. Shout out to @simplytoimpress for offering rush printing AND delivery! I got my cards in 2 days! #Christmaswassaved Loved the packaging, too! Fellow procrastinators, take notes. I sure didn’t do a lot of things right in my 20s, but one thing I’m glad I did was traveling. Nope, no one else paid for my vacations. I used student loans and credit cards. Financially irresponsible? For sure.

But why?

This was my logic: “I can work to pay off debt when I’m 60, but I can’t rock a bikini and day drink on the beach when I’m 60.” 20-year-old me THOUGHT she was wise🤪

Well.
✨I’m paying off my student loans (I graduated with 6-figure debt) and credit cards debt THIS YEAR.
✨New mindset: I do whatever I want because age is just a number.
✨I enjoy being a homebody and being with my kiddos because I don’t have travel FOMO.

So, it all worked out.

To my young and child-free peeps, travel and explore as much as you can. There will always be money.

P.S.: I’m not encouraging you to be financially irresponsible like I was. I’m encouraging you to make ways to experience life without letting the lack of money get in your way. Plus, with the tools and resources available these days, anyone can make extra income.
