Teacher of the month- Heidi Jensen
Heidi Jensen is an exceptional leader and a driving force on our kindergarten team. As team lead, she consistently supports her colleagues with positivity, organization and a clear focus on student success. She goes above and beyond to ensure alignment across the team while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Heidi's dedication, leadership, and commitment to our youngest learners make a lasting impact on both students and staff.

ESP of the month- Emma Porter
Emma Porter is a tremendous asset to our school as a behavior para. She builds strong, positive relationships with students and is always proactive in finding ways to support their success, Emma's patience, consistency, and willingness to go the extra mile make a meaningful difference each day. Her dedication to helping students grow both behaviorally and emotionally does not go unnoticed.

Powerhouses of the month- Amber Kimber & Wendy Dunham
Amber Kimber and Wendy Dunham truly embody what it means to be a powerhouse team. Their leadership and organization in our Response to Intervention meetings are invaluable, ensuring that every student is thoughtfully supported. They consistently go above and beyond to assist teachers, problem-solve, and put effective systems in place. Their commitment to supporting both staff and students plays a critical role in our school's success.

Teacher of the Month- Adrienne Nelson
Adrienne consistently keeps student success at the center of her work. Regardless of outcomes, she reflects thoughtfully and actively seeks ways to improve instruction and outcomes for her students. Her never-quit attitude is contagious and strengthens the entire team around her.

ESP of the month- Tara Tonioli
Tara plays a vital role in supporting student growth through intentional progress monitoring and responsive support. In the brief time she works with each student, she ensures both academic and social needs are addressed. Her experience as both a teacher and para at our school makes her an invaluable asset to our team.

Powerhouse Award- Tammy Reynolds
Tammy is always willing and ready to step in wherever needed. She is faithfully taught computer prep for several years and goes above and beyond to support school wide testing efforts. Our testing success is directly supported by her extra time, dedication, and commitment to helping both staff and students thrive.

We will also have some Chromebooks for sale in the office. They will be $30 each and chargers will be $5 each. We can take Cash or Checks at the school.

Kim Wilson is truly deserving of the title, Teacher of the Month. She consistently goes above and beyond to build strong, meaningful relationships with both her students and fellow faculty members. Kim brings a positive, team-oriented mindset to everything she does and is always willing to support those around her. Her dedication to ensuring that all students succeed is evident in her daily work, and she continuously strives to meet the needs of every learner. Our school is a better place because of her commitment, compassion, and professionalism.

Melissa Owen has been an incredible asset to our school community and is very deserving of ESP of the month. She has stepped into multiple roles whenever needed, always rising to the occasion with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. No matter the situation, Melissa gets the job done and does so with care and consistency. She also works hard to build positive relationships with students, helping create a supportive and welcoming environment. Her flexibility and dedication do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for all that she does.

Our Powerhouse Award for the month of March goes to Angie Greene, whose impact on our school is truly immeasurable. As our school secretary, Angie is at the heart of everything we do, helping to keep the school running smoothly day in and day out. From managing countless tasks behind the scenes to supporting staff, students, and families with kindness and efficiency, she does it all. Angie’s willingness to go the extra mile makes a tremendous difference. She is often the first point of contact for many of our families and we can always depend on her.

We are so grateful to have these employees here at Lake View! They truly make it a fantastic place for students and staff!
