🎶 Tuesdays at 9:30 AM starting September 1

🎶 Wednesdays at 4:45 PM starting September 2

These Mixed-Age classes offer 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. 🥁🎵🪇

Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions, with child-friendly instruments, of course! It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place…

Give your child a confident start to kindergarten! 🎒✨

This fall, Practical Prep is offering KINDER FOUNDATIONS, a hands-on, small-group class designed to build essential academic and social skills for ages 4 and 5, to help these young learners thrive in the kindergarten classroom.

This class focuses on early literacy, basic math skills, classroom routines, and social confidence, all through engaging, age-appropriate activities. 📖✏️

🗓️ Classes will meet from 2-3 PM on Tuesdays from September 8 to November 24 at the Practical Prep Tutors Center in Bridgewater, VA.

🔬 This fall, give your budding scientist the space to explore!

That’s right, Practical Prep is bringing back our popular SCIENCE EXPLORERS CLUB from this summer, this time in a monthly club setting.

In this club, students in grades 1-5 will perform hands-on experiments and exciting challenges in a safe and structured environment. We’ll focus on a different scientific theme each month! 🚀🍂

We are offering two once-a-month class options:

🗓️ Thursdays (5-6 PM): Sept 10, Oct 8, Nov 5, Dec 3

🗓️ Saturdays (11:30 AM-12:30 PM): Sept 12, Oct 10, Nov 7, Dec 5

Students can enroll for the full semester or single sessions at a drop-in rate. But remember, spots are limited! 🌟

Brave Together is a new counseling group at Journey for teen girls (ages 13-17) that will meet each Tuesday from 4-5PM for the month of September. Register by August 28th. This fall, say goodbye to one-size-fits-all reading instruction! 🍂📚

Practical Prep is pleased to introduce READING PATHWAYS, a structured, 8-week reading program open to homeschool students across a range of reading levels, in grades K-5. This program meets them exactly where they are, and moves them forward with purpose.

Here are the essentials:

📖 Skill-Based Placement: Students are placed into groups based on their reading level, so every student gets the right amount of challenge.

📝 Reading Assessment: After you register, you’ll be asked to schedule your student for a free 45-min assessment between Aug 31 – Sept 10, to determine their group placement.

📆 Class Format: 3 days per week (Mon/Wed/Thurs), 45-minute sessions between 10 AM and 2 PM based on specific group

This exciting fall program runs Sept 14 to Nov 5 at Practical Prep’s center in Bridgewater, VA. Spots are limited! 🌟

We can’t believe August is here already!

Our Kindergarten Kickstart class concluded this past week, so today we’re looking back on a joyful summer of learning fun as we helped prepare these young students to transition into the coming school year. Thank you to all who participated! 📚🍎🏫
