🚨NEW WEBINAR🚨

Shelter Meatballs! Understanding and Working with High Arousal Dogs
With Trish McMillan and Laurie Lawless

If you work in a shelter, you know this dog:
▪ Flies out of the kennel.
▪ Can't settle.
▪ Bouncing off the walls.
▪ Gets labeled "too much" before anyone really understands what's going on.

High arousal is not the same as dangerous.

But when shelter environments push dogs past their ability to regulate, handling becomes harder, stress compounds, and adoptability takes a hit.

In this webinar, Trish McMillan and Laurie Lawless break down:
▪ What arousal actually is (and what it isn't)
▪ How shelter environments contribute to escalation
▪ How handling choices help dogs regulate or accidentally make things worse
▪ Practical strategies for working safely with these dogs

Two people who have worked with a whole lot of chaotic, lovable meatballs. Real-world experience. Honest conversation.
