Flowers for Friends

Flowers for Friends was started by 6 yr old. We grow and gather blooms, make bouquets and sell them to raise funds for those in need.

Last year Sophie was concerned about a homeless man she saw on her bus ride to school. She has started a project called "Flowers for Friends". We sold bouquets from our garden to raise money for the homeless in Bridgeport. The first batch of bouquets that was brought to Harborview Market sold in less than 3min! The kids pulled the wagon back to the market for 5 more weeks and raised $320

Flowers for Friends has spent two rainy Saturdays starting their gardens! Cleaning, Weeding and planting seeds and seedlings! Can't wait to see you in June.

Flowers for Friends is wrapping up their 12th season of growing flowers, making bouquets and selling at the Farmers Market at BlackRock. The dedication these girls have is unbelievable. Come by say hello and get some beautiful flowers and help your homeless neighbors at the same time. Thank you to Oola, Clara, Sierra, Tierney, Sophie, Louisa, Senevene and Alezandra.
