It’s been nearly a year since I met sweet bride Kellum. I lettered her envelopes right as the pandemic began. Like many brides, she postponed her wedding until things improved. But a classic black ink on ivory never goes out of style no matter when you mail them ✉️ I’d love to letter envelopes for you or the bride in your life 👰🏻‍♀️ Message me for rates and availability!

Wrapped up the year with a very special project ❤️ I've never attempted to write anything like this before. In fact, it took me several tries to figure out what I was doing at all, but luckily I had a patient client: my sister! She commissioned this artwork as a gift for my brother-in-law. The text is their church's benediction, shared weekly by senior pastor Dr. Jim Barnette, so it has a very special meaning to them ⛪️ I hope my art does it justice!

Once a year I get to be my own client 🤪 and this year I roped in my husband 🧔🏻 to play my reindeer games. I decided I wanted to put my handwriting on our cards to match my writing on the envelope. So I wrote out several versions of the art and he scanned it, cleaned it up and got it just right and in the hands of a local printer, who got them turned around very quickly! It’s not gonna win any awards but we couldn’t have been happier with the finished product (especially the beautiful photos karen halbert photography took this fall) and maybe now I have a new addition to my bag of tricks!? 🤔What do you think?
