Students who miss 18 or more school days are labeled as chronically absent by the ALSDE. It also counts as 10-15% of each school’s report card score. Excused and unexcused absences count toward this number.

502 of our students missed 18 or more days of school last year.

Enjoy the school year! Spend time with your family and take the vacation, but not 18 days worth! 😃
